Narcoossees Grand Floridian Dinner

My daughter ordered filet mignon over white sweet potato mash. She did request a green vegetable, but it was left off her plate. EnerG rolls and olive oil were served. She enjoyed this dish very much.

I ordered the whole fish with rice and vegetables. The fish was prepared nicely, but the description of a soy lime sauce was misleading. Instead this tasted decidedly sweet and more like an orange maple. I am not a fan of sweet with fish, so I did not enjoy this as the sweet sauce over powered the entire dish. Also, it was incredibly difficult to eat as all components werestacked. The rice was buried and the wild greens on top in the way, to some extend. We enjoyed this beautiful restaurant and atmosphere, but I would not recommend it based on our food. We had better food at other locations around the Disney resorts and Epcot. My husband ate the surf and turf, and while he agreed it was good, it didn’t live up to the expectation we had going in.

Dessert consisted of brownies, tofutti ice cream, marshmallows and optional Hershey’s chocolate.
