Above is a salad sampler to share. We loved thew watermelon salad with fennel as well as the chick pea salad in the middle. The one on the far end was not gluten free, but they did have other gluten free and dairy free options. Our server, Chris, was a wonderful host and Chef Jake was so accommodating. We had the best dining experience here, as the animals on the savana came up to the glass that adjoined our table. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.
My entree consisted of dairy free gluten free options – chana masala, a roasted vegetable dish, and rice.
My daughter LOVES saag / palak paneer (not dairy free). This wasn’t on the menu, but the chef offered to make her a gluten free version. This was so nice of him!
They did offer a coconut rice pudding dessert as well as a mango sorbet, but I was hungry for some vanilla toffuti, and I ordered us a bowl to share. That was a nice finish to a wonderful meal full of great new foods, fantastic views, a very fun and helpful server and more. Plan to spend some time here and try some of the unique African wine flights.
A final recommendation would be to go early and ask for a table at a window. If you are prepared to wait for this, you’ll be rewarded with a magical view.
For sure, this is a new family favorite!
