Rice Pilaf

  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 Cup frozen peas
  • 1 Cup uncooked white rice
  • 2 Cups gluten and casein free chicken stock (or vegetable stock or water)

    Saute small chopped onion in olive oil with 1 tsp cumin seeds, salt 1 Cup frozen peas. One cup uncooked white rice and saute for one minute on medium heat. Add two cups of gf/cf chicken stock or water. Bring to boil. Reduce m/l heat , cover cook for 18 minutes or until rice is done.
